Stability profiles allow customers to set up and manage specifications and data relating to the stability trials of its products. The products under trial will be subjected to a variety of conditions over a period of time. This can be visualised as a two-dimensional grid of conditions versus time-points where each cell in the grid represents one or more samples.

When a stability trial is started a set of bar-coded labels are printed and used to identify each of the samples for the life of the trial. This helps make sure that the correct samples are always tested and reduces identification errors. These labels contain the time-point, condition, product, etc. that uniquely identify the cell of the trial. Automatic scheduling of samples due for testing within a specified time window is provided.
