The Position
Our products are LabSys LIMS and LIMS/400 which are Windows and IBM AS/400 based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) designed for the regulated industries - primarily the Pharmaceuticals, Food & Drink and Chemicals sectors. The position involves:
- Customer Support, including:
- Developing fixes/patches from detailed Software Defects
- Fault finding, fixing and developer testing of developed software
- Development, including
- Developing programs from a detailed Technical (Program) Specification and developer testing of same
- Writing of Technical (Program) Specification from a User
- Requirements/Functional Specification
Requirements:
- Experience of Progress V8/V9 ADE
- Experience of MS Office suite
The person employed will ideally have between 1-3yrs experience and will need to be flexible, motivated and to possess a high level of personal interaction skills as the position will involve considerable interaction with the Development Team. Knowledge of IBM AS/400 / iSeries and/or laboratory systems would be a distinct advantage. Some international travel may be involved.
Salary commensurate with experience.
